Where Analytics Numbers Come From

Analytics pulls its numbers from your connected channels and refreshes them with a nightly sync. New channels show as pending until the first sync finishes.

Your connected channels are the source

Analytics reports on the channels you have connected. If a channel is not connected, it does not appear.

When numbers arrive

Right after you connect a channel, Analytics says your channels are connected and the numbers are on their way. The first numbers arrive after that night's sync, so check back the next day.

The four measures

Followers, Impressions, Interactions, and Posts are shown for the period you choose: This week, This month, This quarter, This year, or Custom.

Analytics, Reports, and Goals

Analytics is the live view of your numbers, with four views. Reports turn a period into a shareable summary, with a note, that you can download. Goals, a Beta feature, track progress toward something you set, using a checklist or a number.

Key rules

  • Numbers come from your connected channels.
  • New channels show as Pending until the nightly sync runs.
  • Analytics has four views: Overview, By channel, Table, and Posts.
  • Reports compare a period with the one before it.
  • Goals is a Beta feature.

Common questions

Why are my numbers zero?

If you just connected a channel, wait for the nightly sync. Also check that the period you chose includes recent posts.

Can I export the data?

Yes. Select Download CSV on the Analytics page, or download a Report.
