At TumbleweedTM, your privacy matters to us. Whether you’re running digital campaigns, exploring OEM content, or managing your ag-retail marketing strategy, we want you to know how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains everything in simple terms so you can feel confident using Tumbleweed every day.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Tumbleweed, we collect information to provide you with the best possible experience. Here’s what we gather:
Personal Information
This includes things like your name, email address, job title, company name, contact details, and billing information.
Account and Usage Data
We collect data about how you use the platform, such as login times, campaign performance, engagement with OEM content, and what features you use most. This helps us keep things running smoothly and improve over time.
Cookies and Tracking Tools
Like most online platforms, we use cookies and similar technologies to make Tumbleweed work better for you, understand how the platform is used, and support marketing and analytics efforts.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for a few key reasons:
To provide and operate the Tumbleweed platform
To communicate with you about your account, updates, and important service information
To personalize your experience based on how you use Tumbleweed
To analyze usage and improve our tools and services
To make sure we comply with OEM requirements and legal obligations
To keep everything secure and running as expected
3. Sharing Your Information
We want to be clear: we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
However, there are times when we need to share your information to keep things working:
With Service Providers
We work with trusted partners who help us operate Tumbleweed, like hosting companies, payment processors, and analytics services. They only get the information they need to do their jobs and are not allowed to use it for anything else.
With Connected OEM Accounts (With Your Consent)
If you connect with an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) through Tumbleweed and give explicit permission:
We may share business profile details, posting activity, content types, and performance data so OEMs can verify your participation in their programs (like co-op or rewards).
This only happens with your express consent, and you can turn off sharing at any time in your account settings.
OEMs are not allowed to resell, sublicense, or redistribute your data. They can only use it to manage their marketing programs.
For Legal or Safety Reasons
We may share information if the law requires it, or if it’s needed to protect Tumbleweed, our users, or others.
If the Business Changes Hands
If Tumbleweed is ever part of a merger, acquisition, or similar business transfer, your information may be shared as part of that process, following this policy.
4. OEM Social Posting Permissions
If you choose to let an OEM post to your connected social media accounts through Tumbleweed:
You must give explicit consent in your account settings
You are responsible for reviewing and approving anything posted on your behalf
Tumbleweed does not moderate or control what OEMs post
It is your (or the OEM’s) responsibility to ensure posts follow laws, platform rules, and local advertising standards
Tumbleweed is not responsible for any legal or reputational issues that arise from these posts
5. Keeping Your Information Safe
We take security seriously. Tumbleweed uses a combination of administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. While no system can ever be 100% secure, we work hard to keep your data safe and private.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Tumbleweed service or to meet legal requirements. When it’s no longer needed, we securely delete it.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You’re always in control of your information. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
See the information we have about you
Correct or update your information
Request that we delete your information
Revoke consent for OEM connections or social posting at any time
Opt out of marketing emails by contacting us at support@tumbleweed.digital
8. Platform Availability and Downtime
We do our best to keep Tumbleweed running smoothly, but sometimes outages or service interruptions happen. This includes disruptions with social media platforms or OEM integrations. Tumbleweed is provided “as-is,” and we are not responsible for missed posts or eligibility issues caused by downtime.
9. Children’s Privacy
Tumbleweed is designed for professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we find out we’ve collected information from a child, we’ll delete it right away.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time as our services grow and change. If we make important changes, we will let you know through the platform or by email.
