Request a post
Tell Tumbleweed what's coming up, like an open house or a sale, and ask for a post about it.
- Ask for a post about what's coming up. Choose "Request a post" on your calendar. Say what it's about, pick the date, and add any details, like times, prices, or who to call.
- Tumbleweed reads the date back. After you pick a date, it reads it back to you with the day of the week, so there's no mix-up.
- No date yet? Save it as an idea. Add the date later, when you know it.
- One list for everything you asked for. Your requests appear in the Workflow Hub, grouped as Coming up, Ideas, Done, Missed, and Canceled. You can edit or cancel any of them.
- No duplicates. If you ask for something you've already requested, Tumbleweed shows you the one you have, and offers to add the new date to an idea that has none.
- Who can request. Admins and Editors can request posts. Everyone on the team can see what was asked for.
- Missed requests. If a request's date passes before a post goes out, it moves to Missed in your list.
